What you are seeing is a problem with the LPD spooler
support on the Ricoh printer and its TCP/IP stack
support. When do you a close the Ricoh is not coming
back with a packet (technically a 'segment') indicating
that the connection has been terminated.
I think that there is a firmware update that fixes this.
