Hi,

I am still unable to get pagecounts from my hplj4100tn printers and also
an hp color 5500. I get proper page counts from all the other varieties
of hp printers managed by the server.

I am running ifhp 3.5.10 with the patch to enable "pjl_waitend_byjobname"
and my entry in the conf file for the 4100 is:

# PRINTER % - HP LaserJet 4[123]00
[ hp4100 hp4200 hp4300 ]
tc=hp4000_pcl
# to fix waitend
pjl_waitend_byjobname

My entry in /etc/printcap for one of the printers is:
referenceroomlj4100tn:\
     :sd=/var/spool/lpd/referenceroomlj4100tn:\
     :af=/var/spool/lpd/referenceroomlj4100tn/referenceroomlj4100tn.acct:\
     :sh
     :lp=10.215.250.49%9100
     :pagecount=pjl
     :model=hp4100
     :filter=/usr/local/libexec/filters/ifhp

I have played with the printcap entry (with some appreciated help from Ray
Reskusich) but all to no avail. Can this perhaps be a problem with the
configuration on the printer itself? I'm stumped.

Thanks,
Rob
