I wrote scripts that do accounting using ae and as parameters in my printcap file. I would like to know if lpd waits for the end of as: scripts to print and also if it waits for previous ae: scripts to end before launching a new job(and as: script). It is very important for me because i query internal printer page counter(from as and ae scripts) to do per user accounting. An other problem : This morning my server was really low. I noticed that i had a ifhp process of 700MB executing. Can my ae and as scripts be responsible of that ? I use the last version of ifhp.
