Hi there,

the following is from my ifhp.conf, for an HP4050 printer:

----SNIP----
# the following message will be displayed on the printer DURING printing
# \%s{n} is the user
# \%s{J} is the job name (i.e. the file name)
# \%s{P} ??? (it appears as LP)
pjl_ready_msg = \%s{n} \%s{J}:\%s{P}
#  pjl_ready_msg = test message

# the following message will be displayed on the printer AFTER
# printing is done
# \%s{n} is the user
# \%s{J} is the job name (i.e. the file name)
# \%s{P} ??? (it appears as LP)
pjl_done_msg = Done: \%s{n} \%s{J}:\%s{P}
#  pjl_done_msg = Avanti il prossimo

----SNIP----

Hope this can be of any help.

Ciao
