Dan,

I never saw a resolution on this. Sometime yesterday I my server quit
deleting the old df files and I have no idea why. Did you find out what was
causing this on your server? Thanks!

Subject: LPRng: data files (df*) not being removed from print queues, still

We are now running:

 # /usr/cs/sbin/lpd -V
 LPRng-3.8.24, Copyright 1988-2003 Patrick Powell, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

And are still having the problem where the df files do not leave the queue;
they just build up until purged by checkpc.

I've seen this problem reported before, and I think that the response was
that the problem had been patched. But apparently it is not completely
fixed.

We do have these "done jobs" settings:

 done_jobs=20
 done_jobs_max_age=3600

maybe the problem is exacerbated by this feature? Is anyone else seeing
this phenomenon?

Thanks.

-Dan
