I use the kill command

lpc kill printername

The kill command stop and starts the queue. All the other lpc commands
don't do anything to the stalled print job.

Thanks,

occasionally, i got one job hang in the queue forever and the rest of jobs
couldn't go through.
although i have stalled_time=300 in printcap. I have tried remove the job
but it didn't help so i
have to hard reboot the printer.

i am sure this happen to other people too. how do you deal with it ? (run
over and reboot the
printer ? or remove the job solve the problem for you ?)

i include a lpq log that after i remove the hung job.
