I finally got a chance to do this. the result is.. printing stops at 5th page, then i
resume from
the 6th and the rest pages prints okay. that is on HP 4100

I also tried it on a HP 4000N printer, it won't even print a single page without LPRng
( not to
mention with LPRng, error read_time_out ). Then i tried it on HP 4200 and HP 2200,
both way it
prints nicely.

at this point, I have come to conclusion that it's the fault of printer and the pdf
file. I am
just happay that LPRng works just the way it should.

thanks,

Qiang.
