I have a situation with DataMax printers. My print server will spool jobs
into the queue of a printer as there is room. For example, my Xerox 4525
will take in 40+ jobs in the time it has printed 2 or 3. The jobs are cached
in the printer until they are printed. On my DataMax printers I am having a
difficulty. The printer will accept jobs but at some point it fails to
print. Then it looses network connection. In order to get the printer going,
we have to turn it off and back on. In doing so, we loose whatever jobs were
in the cache of the printer, usually 3 jobs.

Is there a way that I can make LPRng wait to send the next job to the
printer until it receives confirmation that the first print job has printed
entirely? I don't want the printers storing things in their cache. Thanks
for any help!
