Hi, I know git well enough to migrate it from svn and to set up a git repository.
I have made a small presentation of how to use git. I can pinpoint it to you if you like. It is also possible to use svn as a main server and git as a client. But the configuration is a little more tricky than just using git but it is also another possibility.
