It is placed under the GPL license, whereas the rest of LSC is under the
BSD license:

# modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License

# of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
Would you consider relicensing this file under the BSD license? This
would make the whole source distribution equal in terms of license
(actually, there's some CDDL in the OpenDS testing, I'll look into that
soon).
