Issue #224 has been updated by Jonathan Clarke.

Category set to Core
Status changed from New to Feedback
Assigned to set to Jonathan Clarke
% Done changed from 50 to 80
Version changed from 1. to 1.2.0

Damn, sent that too quickly, sorry. So...

My latest work is committed in branches 1.2, 1.3 and trunk, including some new
tests to detect this problem. You can test in tomorrow's nightly build, or via
SVN, or in 1.2.1.

It would be good to write tests for the remaining public methods in
JndiServices, to make sure this works everywhere.

Bug #224: Bad handling of / character in RDN
http://tools.lsc-project.org/issues/224

Author: Raphaël Ouazana
Status: Feedback
Priority: Normal
Assigned to: Jonathan Clarke
Category: Core
Target version: 1.2.1
Version: 1.2.0

Hi,

LSC seems to handle incorrectly the slash character (/). In some cases I get
the following message:
Error while reading entry "ou=bla / bla",o=bla:
javax.naming.InvalidNameException: "ou=bla / bla",o=bla: close quote appears
before end of component

Note the oddly added quotes.

Regards,
Raphaël Ouazana.
