Hi guys,
Hi Seb,
We have already spoken about submitting an RMLL conference about LSC.
Because call for conference will be closed the 31th march, you will
find here my proposition that I propose to submit :
I am very keen for LSC to be presented at RMLL again this year. With
your recent work, there should be a few new things to present too!
Are you planning to do this presentation on your own, or should it be a
team event?
Either way, I made some corrections to your abstract below. I would
suggest adding a title (something different than "LSC presentation"
because we've done that for a few years now) and a sentence near the end
to explain what level to expect from this talk. The question to answer
is: "is it going to be about identity management principles, with a lot
of Visio diagrams, or will it be technical and hands-on with
configuration examples, technical jargon, etc?"

Current identity and access management solutions are based on a
centralised identity repositories (databases or directories) in which
users are fully identified. But to maintain consistency, or simply to
avoid depending on other data sources, applications and systems often
include their own copies of these information.
If your goal is to reduce the time you spend provisioning accounts
accross systems or if you want to avoid "ghost" accounts, take time to
attend this conference, which will focus on presenting LSC version
1.4, because this new version will include:
- the capacity to synchronize data accross many systems with
connectivity for existing SQL databases and LDAP directories, and also
with a great expandability: write a simple plugin and synchronize any
specific, currently unsupported datasource
- a very comprehensive and expandable mapping language
- an administration web interface
- a Quartz embedded scheduler
Delivered under a BSD license, LSC project has been initiated 6 years
ago. You will find it at the following location : http://lsc-project.org.
