Bug #277: lsc script output error on MacOS X
http://tools.lsc-project.org/issues/277

Author: Ludovic Poitou
Status: Feedback
Priority: Normal
Assigned to: Sébastien Bahloul
Category: Core
Target version: 2.0.x branch
Problem in version: 1.2.1

The lsc script (bin/lsc) does output an error message on MacOS X at start-up :
grep: /proc/*/cmdline: No such file or directory

To check if it's already running, the code does a grep from /proc/*/... which
is not portable on all Unixes. For example, this fails on MacOS X and probably
Solaris as well.
