Hi to all! I found LSC LDAP connector as interesting product but I have few startup questions so if anybody have some guideline please help. I need to do synchronization from OpenLDAP to Active Directory Domain Services. The problem is that I'm coming from Windows world (sysadmin) and Linux/Unix OS and OpenLDAP is something unknown to me. So here are questions (sorry if they are really dummy:)):
- LDAP connector can be run on linux or windows machine but which is more preferred? - If I'm correct if LDAP connector is installed on Windows machine it needs Cygwin to do any sort of synchronization? - If LDAP connector is installed on Linux machine do I need it installed on Windows to do synchronization between OpenLDAP and AD? - I didn't find in documentation how to start LDAP connector to sync something if it is installed on Windows so if you have any link or know how please send some info. Basically I don't know how to start and what knowledge I need to have from linux and OpenLDAP world to do such thing so any recommendation would be helpful. Regards, Tomislav
