Thanks Clément. I remember seeing that now. I was specifically thinking about something like modifiedTimeStamp>=20151113000000Z in my search filter where I would programmatically set the value to midnight of the current day or the last run time of the job. I'm doing this same kind of delta sync with applications that import LDAP data into a local data store. This way only records that have changed since the specified date/time get processed. Unfortunately, I have source directories that don't support the persistent search and async options so it would be helpful if I could do this kind of delta sync in batch mode. I would think this kind of feature would be really useful for everyone in cutting down the number of records LSC must process during a sync job??

I thought I had read somewhere that the ability to use JavaScript in the search filters is being considered for 2.2. Can someone confirm if they're working on that ability? I have recently run into a situation where it would be a great help to run a delta sync in batch mode comparing some kind of last run time or recent time stamp with an attribute like modifiedTimeStamp in my source filter. Hi, what is planned for 2.2 is pivot transformation: http://tools.lsc-project.org/issues/756 I don't think this will allow to use the current date with modifiedTimeStamp attribute. -- Clément OUDOT Consultant en logiciels libres, Expert infrastructure et sécurité Savoir-faire Linux
