I see what you mean.

If I run just that task it complains about some java path.

Could you see if its my xml file or do you think its something else? 

root@labldap:~# lsc -s /etc/lsc/lsc.xml
2019/03/19 11:08:30 [lsc] No java executable found on PATH or in JAVA_HOME! 
Aborting.
2019/03/19 11:08:30 [lsc] Define JAVA_HOME or adjust your PATH variable to 
include java.


I see the config is pointing to this bean:
<name>MySyncTask</name>
      <bean>org.lsc.beans.SimpleBean</bean>

Hi,

Try to execute your task directly instead of using start/stop service script 
used for asynchronous mode. You'll get more details on your errors and you'll 
be able to figure them out.

/usr/local/lsc/bin/lsc -s all
