(starting a new thread)

Folks -

Based on a suggestion from Chris

<snip>
>> I think the [multi-tlv] draft should include a table of all top level TLVS
>> as rows and for
>> columns we have
>>
>> - "Implicit Single TLV Only" (e.g., no key info)
>> - "Implicit Multi-TLV Only"
>> - "Explicit Single TLV Only"
>> - "Explicit Multi-TLV-Allowed"
>>
<end snip>

Tony took up the challenge and created a spreadsheet which can be seen at

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VWQHsJTq7JRUVdRVcRd_QYYyY_LiOX7H0ZKn8feRZo4/edit?usp=sharing

Tony did the bulk of the work - but I also made some contributions.

The spreadsheet has now reached a point where we are wondering what the next
logical step should be and want to open the discussion up to the WG.
Some thoughts:

1)What do we do with the spreadsheet?

Do we simply include it pretty much as is in the multi-tlv draft?
Do we publish it as a separate document?

2)Do we have the right columns? Should some be added? Should some be deleted?

3)How should this information be maintained going forward as new TLVs are
defined?

4)Should any portion of the status reported be added into our IANA registries
e.g., add a column indicating MP support/TLV (Y/N/NA)?

Other ideas?

Thanx.

   Les
