Dear LSR and all, This document [1] describes the main technical problems of current operational intra-domain SAV mechanisms and proposes the basic requirements for future solutions. Over the past few years, this document has been fully discussed in the SAVNET WG. Now, we are seeking comments on this document from LSR. Although this document does not assume the future solution will extend or use IGP, we believe LSR members' comments will be helpful, as future protocol work may be related to LSR (as described in the SAVNET WG Charter).
If you are interested in this topic, you are welcome to review this document and provide your valuable comments. Thanks, Lancheng [1] https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-savnet-intra-domain-problem-statement/ > -----Original Messages----- > From: Lancheng <[email protected]> > Send time:Monday, 19/05/2025 12:26:14 > To: [email protected] > Cc: [email protected], > [email protected] > Subject: Solicit comments on > draft-ietf-savnet-intra-domain-problem-statement-16.txt > > Dear WG, > > Jim suggested that we (co-authors) should share the following document with > the impacted WGs to get broader input. > This informational document provides a gap analysis of current operational > intra-domain source address validation mechanisms > and defines the basic requirements for future ones.
