The reminder does not get to the group, why?
Ghaleb will contact Mellisa Powerscock (NOAO) and check if we can go to the old calcium calendar.

- Review of middleware results from last week's meetings at NCSA
Ray will send a summary of the meeting

- Start work on Robustness Analysis of Flat Fielding and Crosstalk Correction use cases, including middleware APIs

Steps needed to do the robustness analysis:
1- Identify the objects that will participate in each case
2- Classify these objects into the following three types of objects
        a. Boundary objects, used by actors to communicate with the system
        b. Entity objects, these are objects identified in the domain model
c. Control objects, objects that act as a glue between boundary objects and entity objects. Robustness analysis links the what (analysis) to the how (design) (for further information, please refer to the book "Use case driven object modeling with UML, a practical approach", by Doug Rosenberg). I took these definitions from this book.

Robustness analysis will push the analysis down a little further.
Example: Flat field use case
Flat field image (this is a flat field image object), the image is generated and provenance will be captured for the image. The flat field image inherits form Framework image. To store the flat field image (object); image parent invokes a store me function in the data access API.

For simplicity, the analysis should not cover the full pipeline. Assume the pipeline exists and focus on the flat fielding and cross talk algorithms.
