Perseus Status in Data Access

David Fleming has been working through the details of how the Data
Access Framework will facilitate data transfer for two use cases in
particular: calibration and co-adding. Generally speaking, such use
cases will in part be represented through staging "policies" (formerly
"strategies") that embody the intelligence needed to best facilitate
data transfer for the type of pipeline that is to be executed.
Chris Cribbs has installed xrootd on our data server and is in the
process of configuring/tweaking it. Testing is expected to get underway
soon. Also, he continues work on the planning of a new testbed data
server cluster for [EMAIL PROTECTED]
