Hello Fellow DC1ers,
Due to a miscommunication amongst the local group, I missed this meeting.
There were issues being covered which I wanted to hear about/discuss -- so
I look forward to the notes. If I need further clarifications, I'll speak up.
Some comments:
I moved some of the software to SDSC last week. Whilst unpacking it
today, I noticed that the interactive system is overloaded and even
simple 'ls' take on the order of 10 seconds. The untar took minutes
for a process which took seconds on lsstarchive.
I discovered that the lsstarchive has a problem with the ibrix filesystem
which is being researched by Ramon. I plan on using lsstarchive/LAM to
further an MPI inplementation for DC1.
