I am making progress on using XSLT to transform stageCollection input
XML policies into code to perform the actual data transfers. The data
transfers themselves can be handled either through Trebuchet calls from
within Java or by OGRE workflows via the "uri-copy" element.
Consequently, we are looking at transforming the XML policies into
Python code fragments that can be called from within Jython (Python file
iteration, Java Trebuchet calls for example), and/or into OGRE XML
workflows directly.
Chris Cribbs is presently focusing on his non-LSST responsibilities, but
continues to assist with issues concerning our local data server platform.
