Cost Estimate Status Database sizes will be reworked with Tim/Kem view of how close to galactic plane we go to, not splitting the object tables by stars and galaxies, adopting Zeljko¹s suggestion regarding time information per frame for galaxies (like stars) and 50% for spare attributes not yet identified. The cost estimates for disk space will be updated with this by end of this week. Disk I/O for low volume queries is done, now working on high volume ones. Once this is finished, this will also be used to update the disk cost estimates. Note that current queries are on catalogs only, not image archive. Reference Design Baseline/Review There will be a review held before the August 24 freeze, either same week or week before. We will need to update UML and create graphics describing the reference design for this review. The goal will be to have draft graphics and supporting tables that would ultimately go into the MREFC proposal. Think on the order of 15 graphics and 10 tables. Discussion of SVN repository structure Agreed to move ahead with Russell¹s proposed scheme for DC1, Tim can comment when he returns. This is for DC1 only, longer term issues to consider: - Multiple languages (C++, Java, Python) - Baselines that vary by facility - Ensure that we can ³slice off² part of our software easily without taking everything Coverage for LSST PM Telecon this Thursday Ray will cover it for DM _______________________________________________ LSST-data mailing list [email protected] http://www.lsstmail.org/mailman/listinfo/lsst-data
