MREFC Proposal Volume I - Draft slideset/storyboard (#2082) posted Wednesday with writing assignments in Notes. We need first draft to Jeff by September 11. Remaining items: 1. Revised Archive Center Infrastructure Acquisition Plan for Operations (is 1 5-year refresh the most cost-effective?) - Cristina Beldica, Chris Cribbs, Michelle Butler 2. Revised CPU for Queries - Tim, Jacek 3. Justification for 2-year doubling of CPU Ray Plante, Michelle Butler, Don Dossa 4. Reliability/single point of failure analysis - Don Dossa 5. Discussion of NVO portal relevance to LSST - Chris Smith 6. System Integration Diagram/text - Jeff DC1 - Progress check on Stage 3 readiness/execution. TG was down, unplanned down time was scheduled for this morning. Assuming TG in good shape, we will start executing on Monday. Databases are deployable on TG, running test today. Logging is integrated into pipeline and DB services. Data generator for DB ingest is done, Robyn to integrate into pipeline. A few minor deployment issues to clean up. Data transfer is still in test, made tuning changes suggested by SDSC. Ray on travel 9/6 9/12 at NVO summer school, will be working/online much of the time. Greg will drive next week¹s DC1 execution from portal, he and Steve will be able to push it forward. Ray will also be on travel 9/18 9/21 at IVOA meeting on Moscow. Should have connectivity but not sure, but will be pretty busy. LSST R&D Plan/FY07 Budget - In work, we will be contacting people for updated statements of work after 9/15.
