Okay--it looks like at least Ray, Greg, Russell and Jacek can make 1pm PT.
Let's go for it, so we can quickly get on the same page. Hopefully, 15
minutes or so should do it.
So to get us ready, I'll mention that Greg pointed out that I reported the
numbers in correctly. Here are the correct numbers:
Number of CCD directories: 192
Number of files/directory ingested: 21
Size of each file: 79800 Bytes
Time to load all 192*21 files: 199 s
Ingest Rate ==> 1.6 MB/s
This test corresponds to loading all database data as a post-processing
step, after the pipeline is done. This is not how we will run in general.
Also of note:
Number of records per file: 300
Size of one record 266 B
