Hi folks,

As I battle with Trac and its myriad of modern dependencies, I am considering "globally" upgrading the following rather than install yet another version-of-same:

svn - currently 1.3.1, would upgrade to 1.3.1 but with SWIG bindings (I want to pass on doing newer svn due to a deeper dependency upgrade stack which I don't want to deal with if I don't have to).

swig - currently 1.1, would upgrade to 1.3.31.

I propose to replace existing versions of svn and swig with my new incantations of each.

Please advise if it is *known* that doing so will cause trouble. Without facts along such lines, I think I'll go ahead and do it. Let me know.

Thanks. :-)

DF
