I have just posted a new document to the Docushare site:
Collection-650/Document-2816 "Photometry Algorithm Comparison"
The 129 page PDF document describes the University of Washington team's
efforts and the results of our evaluation of several popular photometry
packages (DAOPhot, DoPhot, SExtractor, and Photo).
If you want 'just the facts' there is a 4-page Executive Summary of our
results starting on page 8!
The majority of these results were presented at the Astronomical Image
Processing Workshop in Dubrovnik, Croatia this past September. We will be
presenting these results as a poster paper for the 209th American
Astronomical Society Meeting this January in Seattle.
