Two apps are in common use in Ukraine and Russia. Supposedly they are
secure, but I have my doubts.

I am using Telegram to communicate with folks in Russia.

I am using Viber to communicate with folks in Ukraine.

I use Signal to communicate with most of the rest of the world.
