for Argentine President Election Oct 22 2023 one month away.
Milei is a right-wing libertarian, as far removed from freedom as you can
imagine. He, and his proposed vice-president, are both backers of the 1976 coup
d'etat, and are rallying for "rescuing the memory" of the bloodiest military
regime in the sad Latin America of the 1970s. Mileis is in favor of abolishing
the National Bank (and the Argentinian peso, adopting the US Dollar as national
currency), forfeiting any actual governance their country can have on an
economic agenda. Milei does not oppose people taking on 16 hours of work every
day if they want to succeed, to save them from being lazy bums waiting for
government aid, if they want to escape poverty.
Milei uses the word freedom to mean self-enslavement.
