Issue #314 has been updated by Clément Oudot. Status changed from New to Assigned Assigned to set to Clément Oudot
This was done before because if I remember well, we had a bug with the rotation (OpenLDAP was not logging in the new file). Can you disable the restart and confirm that OpenLDAP log well in the new file? ---------------------------------------- Feature #314: openldap daemon restart during logrotate should be avoided http://tools.lsc-project.org/issues/314 Author: Nick Milas Status: Assigned Priority: Normal Assigned to: Clément Oudot Category: Target version: In ltb-openldap RPM there is a logrotate script in /etc/logrotate.d/openldap which (among other things) restarts openldap. Most probably this restart should not be necessary; if so, please modify the script accordingly, to not restart openldap. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
