Issue #394 has been updated by Nick Milas.
An addition: Interestingly (as you noticed from my earlier post, in which I did it by mistake), we start the slapd service using "service slapd start" and the service may stop not only with "service slapd stop" but also with "service ldap stop"! I don't know if slapd could/should use some technique to avoid being affected by running (intentionally or not) "service ldap stop". On the other hand, the opposite does not happen: if ldap service is running, the command "service slapd stop" cannot stop it. ---------------------------------------- Feature #394: Building ltb OpenLDAP RPMs http://tools.lsc-project.org/issues/394 Author: Nick Milas Status: Assigned Priority: Normal Assigned to: Clément OUDOT Category: OpenLDAP RPM Target version: Hello, I would like to know if you publish the detailed process of building your fine OpenLDAP RPMs. We would like to test current OpenLDAP development source code versions on our CentOS systems, which use your LTB RPMs, as a kind of beta-testing. So, I would like to ask whether I can build LTB-compatible RPMs myself or you can provide such beta-source-code RPMs (for the OpenLDAP RE24 branch).
