This is not always an option, for example in our project we are not allowed to 
get the needed permission. Would be so awesome if you could consider it :)

Hi,

I'm running OpenLDAP as non-root user. The user needs full control over the 
pwdChecker's configuration file and therefore cannot use the default path at 
@/etc/openldap/check_passwd.conf@. But there's no way changing the default path 
other than through building the library. It would be much more convenient if a 
way could be offered to set the path without the need to build the library.
