Hello,

Thank you for making these packages available, very easy for getting
up and running on RHEL5.

My question is: I have a directory running on Red Hat's included
packages of OpenLDAP 2.3.x, using bdb and meta backend databases to
merge a local and remote directory into one tree, configured from
slapd.conf. It is working well.

I use slaptest on OpenLDAP 2.3 to convert to a slapd.d/ style
configuration and use slaptest from ltb to test the configuration:

# ../../sbin/slaptest -F slapd.d/
4f8c844a olcReplicationInterval: value #0: <olcReplicationInterval>
keyword is obsolete (ignored)
Unrecognized database type (meta)
4f8c844a olcDatabase: value #0: <olcDatabase> failed init (meta)
4f8c844a config error processing olcDatabase={2}meta,cn=config:
<olcDatabase> failed init
slaptest: bad configuration directory!

Google suggests that this is because the module is not loading or meta
back end support was not compiled. Is this so?

Thank you very much,
Eugene
