I'm trying to get X11 working on my MPC8610_HPCD Board.
1. Problem: In LTIB provided by Freescale there is no X11 option in the
package list.
2. Problem: In LTIB's CVS version there is no support for MPC8610_HPCD.
3. Problem: When I try to build X11 (I selected MPC8641_DHPCN for
testing) I got following error while processing libX11:
cannot find -lxcb-xlib
The library should be in rootfs/usr/lib but it isn't
(e.g.libxcb.so.1.0.0 ist there).
I also tried to build one package after each other but I ran into the
same problem:
> No package 'xkbfile' found : -> Added libxkbfile
> error: failed build dependencies:
libX11 is needed by libxkbfile-1.0.5-1 -> Added libX11
libXdmcp is needed by libxkbfile-1.0.5-1 -> Added libXdmcp, build
finished fine
> cannot find -lxcb-xlib
Failed building libX11
I'm working with Ubuntu 10.10 and the BSP for MPC8610_HPCD from Freescale.
Can anybody give me a hint how to solve my problems?
