Hi Phyo,
You need to talk to Freescale, I have no oversight of their BSPs these days.

Hi Phyo,
I don't think you have the latest version of the public LTIB project
e.g from Savannah as described here:
http://ltib.org/resources-download . The line the error refers to does
not correlate to the latest version. Where did you get your LTIB?

Hi Stuart,
Thanks for your answers. I understand that you all help about LTIB.
I am just requesting about any advices for that case. Otherwise, I
could not continue LTIB part.
Sure, I put which packages to install in running command. Do you have
any suggestions for my case?
Thanks again.

Hi Phyo,
This list can only really help with LTIB questions. However, if you
run sudo apt-get install -y you need to tell it which packages to
install. Also before you run this run "sudo apt update" to refresh
the package list meta-data.

Hi Stuart,
I run the command sudo apt-get install --y ..... I don't think it is
LTIB problem.
Because I didn't get the part of ltib installation.
I tried to run sudo apt-get update and still some error. Could it be
my ubuntu os internet connection issue or not?
Please advise.

Hi Phyo,
What command did you run? is this an LTIB problem or a VM install problem?

Hi Stuart,
Thanks for your advises.
I installed ubuntu 11.10 as alongside window XP and tried to prepare host.
"unable to locate package ... " , "package ... has no installation
candidate" , such kinds of error show in preparation of linux host.
Could you please advise what is the problem and how to solve?

Dear Sir,
I am beginner level to use ltib package and I'd like to ask some
questions regarding about ltib build host setup and ltib installation.
Which version of ubuntu is suitable for ltib installation? Can I use
ubuntu 11.10?
Yes that should be fine. I've installed on that version.
Do I need to do default ubuntu installation? Or can I use ubuntu os
boot from CD?
You need an installation so that LTIB can write to disk (/opt/ltib/...)
Is there any reference document for set up of ubuntu 11.10 host for
ltib build and ltib installation?
There's no specific per-platform instructions, just follow the generic
instructions. What you may have to do though is install some missing
dependencies using "sudo apt-get xxx" . LTIB will tell you if
something it needs is missing.
