kernel versions, etc)

But this should not have caused problem as Ricardo's Patch (a month
back) takes care of those Kernel which does not support UTSNAMESPACE.
I would request you to download ltp-full-20070731 releases yesterday
and report problems if any with that also, along with Kernel Version(s).

if I do "make install" also I am receiving same errors.
I tried ltp-base*.gz and tried to run make same errors are seen.
Kindly let me know if any setup needs to be done before
executing make.
