Talking about the vmsplice problem, I verified it with 2.6.23-rc6-git7 running at RHEL 5 (ppc) and didn't find any problem with the test case. Talking with Jeff, he pointed that this bug was reported at RedHat bugzilla and the fix is already available upstream: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=235184 http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/4/4/307 As the kernel that I tested has this patch, we didn't find any problem: vmsplice01 1 PASS : vmsplice() returned 0 Also, talking with Jeff we found that only the error message is not enough to debug the test case and reproduce the error, I guess that we need more information, like the kernel version, distro, architecture and etc. -- Ricardo Salveti de Araujo ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
