Hi,

I am proposing Kdump-NG test suite, which was designed to give us more
freedom and flexibilites to test Kdump/Kexec functionalities, and
simplify the way to add new test coverage in the future. There are some
highlights of existing test coverage and automation features,

- setup Xen Dom0 Kernel for Kdump testing.
- configure a EXT3 rootfs by a block device name, UUID or label.
- configure any dump filter options.
- configure and setup NFS or SSH servers for network dumping.
- configure any other Kdump options, like default action.
- crash bare metal or Xen Dom0 Kernel by SysRq-C, crasher, or LKDTM
  Kernel module.
- crash Xen hypervisor
- analyse vmcore using basic ELF utilities, like objdump, eu-readelf,
  etc.
- analyse vmcore using GDB.
- analyse vmcore for Xen hypervisor status.
- existing test step building blocks to create you own test cases.
- some predefined test cases.

You could find all files in attachment.

Thanks,
CaiQian
