Hi ,
 
    I noticed the OOM killer while running the hackbench tests in zSeries.
The machine had  memory of 2GB and swap space of 1GB.
While running the  'hackbench 300'  noticed this OOMs.

I used the z9 Lpar box to test this.
It utilised the swap mem upto 500 MB, though it had upto 1GB of swap !

    But while running the hackbench in x86_64 , the testcase quit, 
displaying error  "fork() (error: Cannot allocate memory) "
