Hi,
I have tried this on another 64-bit platform. This time using the October
release of ltp.
krms:/tmp/ltp-full-20080731/testcases/kernel/mem/mmapstress # cat
/etc/SuSE-release
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86_64)
VERSION = 10
PATCHLEVEL = 1
krms:/tmp/ltp-full-20080731/testcases/kernel/mem/mmapstress # ./mmapstress03
./mmapstress03: errno = 12: couldn't brk back over holes
mmapstress03 1 FAIL : Test failed
krms:/tmp/ltp-full-20080731/testcases/kernel/mem/mmapstress #
Something is up here? Can someone explain if this is a bug?
I also see this on Redhat 5 64-bit
I have not seen this on 32 bit implementations.
best regards,
paul
