We can even anotate negative testcases as > well, for example in case invalid fd is passed, make sure the call > returns EBADFD (which may be even usefull for generating strace tests). yeah, i think i'll want to rejigger things to be more data driven. you're right of course that for many LTP syscall tests, these command line programs would be capable of exercising the same code paths. the open question would be how to integrate with the rest of the "fluff" that makes LTP nice to use (things like TCONF & TBROK and such). i'll start with the base framework and we'll see how things evolve from there. -mike
