I would highly appreciate to use date in format [dd-mth-yyyy]. I use that for my own ChangeLog files. As an example (from [1])... -* Version 0.7.2 +* Version 0.7.2 [2012-12-07 Fri] ...would look like 07-Dec-2012. This is IMHO more fault-tolerant. >From my experiences, the English date format is quite confusing for Europeans like me, think of a date like "12/9/12". 12th September? 9th December? And even "12" could confuse as yy short of 2012 :-). Just my 0.02EUR.
