I changed some relevant code in eea609 and following commits. I'm almost sure the test suite was clean after I was done with it (which it didn't before BTW). I'm pretty sure that I tested plain ppc64, ppc32 with BSS PLT's and ppc32 with secure PLT's as well. It all worked. But please re-check, more eyeballs and all that.
