Hi, If somebody is interested in using these packages, I have a new version of the packages I did, to be used with 2.09pre3. I merged the ssh stuff and the vnc over ssh stuff. Thanks to jim, it is much less intrusive, and there are also new features, with ideas taken from vnc-X package of Jason A. Pattie.
For those unaware, the lts_kmap is usefull for non us keyboards in console mode. The lts_ssh package permits a ssh in console mode login at the workstation, or a graphical session of vnc tunneled in ssh, fully secured. I think the second one could interest people wanting to have a ltsp workstation outside of the LAN. With -C option of ssh, the stream is crypted but also compressed, and if I remember well some people on a list said it was slow over a modem, but not unusable. There is also a script which could be usefull for those wanting to use ltsp without DHCP server. All is on http://www.geocities.com/patpertusus/ I haven't tested the rpm build, but the files list is correctly generated.
