Well, the server is Slackware (8), the Clients are NFS mounted Debian
(unstable)...  Just after I emailed, I was able to get a little
farther..  I found the ~/.xsession-errors file and was able to see that
a couple of things were failing there, and I was able to get the client
running once..  But I still get that odd error about not being able to
secure the keyboard..  Will keep after it..  The second login screen (X
Login Screen after xdm login screen) just poped up again... Getting
frustrated..
Something is happening that I can't seem to follow..
