Dear Friends,
I am running Mandrake Linux 8.0 in my server and still I am not able to get X login
window loaded in the diskless terminal.I am getting a grey window with a mouse pointer
(X mark) at the centre. The pointer is not moving and the node is getting hanged . In
my server default
desktop is kde.
As per your suggession, I have enabled the xdm.conf, gdm.conf and kdm.conf files and
made "Enable=true" and rebooted the system also.
I have given the following commands on server and found that xdm, gdm and kdm are
running.
[vinod@vinod vinod]$ ps aux | grep kdm
vinod 1720 0.0 0.2 1636 612 pts/1 S 23:09 0:00 grep kdm
[vinod@vinod vinod]$ ps aux | grep xdm
vinod 1734 0.0 0.2 1636 612 pts/1 S 23:09 0:00 grep xdm
[vinod@vinod vinod]$ ps aux | grep gdm
vinod 1736 0.0 0.2 1636 612 pts/1 S 23:09 0:00 grep gdm
Please suggest me what other changes I have to make.
