I'd like to see your XF86Config-4.sis6205 file.

Keep in mind, that when you specify an XF86Config file, it doesn't use 
any of
the other X settins in the lts.conf file.  At least X 4 works that way, 
because the
Xserver driver is specified inside the XF86Config file.

X3.3.6 will still use the XSERVER parameter, but none of the others.
