Hello !

        I've tried to install newest release of LTSP, but this time, I'd like
to have sound support...

        Everything went fine (X, etc...)

        I've installed ltspsound for LTSP2.09Pre3 but I still get sound on server, but
not on client...

        Here is my lts.conf:

        SERVER                  = 192.168.1.1

        [brian]
        RUNLEVEL                = 3 (or 5)
        XF86CONFIG_FILE         = XF86Config-4.brian
        LOCAL_APPS              = N
        LOCAL_WM                = Y
        MODULE_01               = serial
        SOUND                   = Y
        SOUND_DAEMON            = nasd
        SMODULE_01              = sound.o
        SMODULE_02              = uart401.o
        SMODULE_03              = sb_lib.o
        SMODULE_04              = sb.o io=0x220 irq=5 dma=1

        I think that all is correct ? (I mean modules configuration is OK, but I hope
it only because I'm not able to test it with any other mean :(

        I tried to launch client using runlevel 3 to check for nasd, but ps
-edf told me nothing...

        I've tried to run nasd -aa -d1 and....

        Here are some errors messages:

        AuInitPhysicalDevices();
        Init: Will close device when finished with stream
        Init: will initialize mixer device options
        openDevice OUT /dev/dsp mode 2

        Fatal server error:
        Could not create audio connection block info

        In fact, when I'm logged runlevel 3, /dev/dsp does not exists, but can be
seen on server side in $LTSPROOT/dev ! (It was created when installing ltspsound...)

        I mean there's something weird with devfs but I cannot figure what....

        Do someone have any clues ? Thanks !

        Another question:

        What are the advantages/drawbacks of differents sound solution for LTSP
(esd,nasd ...) ?

        Can someone give some advices ? Thanks again ;)

        Bye
