Hello,
Thin client came in to lime light cause CITRIX which dominated the
industry.
Nobody seriously looked at Linux as a option. you get MS certified
people 1000 but to get linux certified is difficult.

There are lot of flavors available when you talk about Thin CLients,
1) Dos embedded so you can have Novell also.
2) embedded Wince
3) embedded NT
4) embedded Linux. with a browser, Citrix or Tarantella client.
We have a product which is embedded Linux with lot of options
1) you can connect the terminal as X-windows
2) you can connect the same to MS-Terminal server with the help of ICA
linux client
3) you can run emulation's to connect to AS-400 (5250,3270) and with the
help of unix emulators u can connect to multiple unix servers.
We are successful in making LTSP works on old machines.

The Linux client gives you universal connectivity among the cross
platforms.

If you need more clarification , please feel free to contact us.

Regards
Dinesh Karnad.
