Hi all
I have been setting up PXE boot terminals today using 2.0.9pre4.
I have used Marty Connor's docs successfully with a PXE boot eepro100 using the
etherboot PXE loader.
I moved on to our IGEL etherterminals. These things can use PXE bootstrap using
the RTL8139 chip. I can get it to boot the etherboot PXE loader which then
downloads the kernel just fine.
The machine halts at the end of the kernel download with a message
.................done
mknbi-1.-5/first32.c (GPL)
The kernel would normally start executing here but it is locked. I have tried a
few tweaks in the bios without success.
The IGEL terminals are based on the Cyrix chipset and I have had plenty of
wierdness in the past getting them to work with ltsp ie not accepting the kernel
arguments from bpbatch.
I realise that it may be an etherboot/mknbi problem.
Any thoughts?
